[She doesn't make posts to the journal very often but this is one of those moments where she wanted to. Plus it might give her some good practice for future comers to the temple. With a deep breath, she turned on the journal and more specifically, the video function. Now or never!]

Hello again, Luceti. For the all the New Feathers that just arrived, I'm Yukiko Amagi. I was rather curious about something for the past couple of weeks and would like to try it out, hopefully using the journals to get a better message.

[Stop babbling and get to the point.]

I work at the temple and one of the skills I'm learning is how to read the tarot. For those who are not familiar with it, it's like fortune telling but only a tool and not for certain. Or, that's what I like to believe.

If anyone would like to have their cards read, I can do it over the journals or at the temple. Whichever ways works for you I can accompany that request. Just a warning that I am fairly new at this.

[And she will stay true to her word: if anyone wants a tarot reading, Yukiko will be at the temple for all their needs.]

(OOC: I do have a tarot deck and will attempt to be doing readings. I'm still a novice but it's mostly for fun, right?)

[A small smile crept onto Yu's face.]

I'll be right over.

[And sure enough, a few minutes later, there was a knock on her door.]

[Be honored that she's doing a reading at her place while most will be done at the temple. That and Yu's close so she would be comfortable in it. Answering the door now.]

Hey, come on in.

[Thank god, because there was a small part of his brain that would be worried if he was ever in the same room with Rei and Yukiko.]

Thanks for having me.

[It wouldn't be bad really! Unless they decide to swap clothes.]

Of course! Just let me get the deck and I'll be ready. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable.

Sure thing.

[Yu paused, waiting until she was out of the room, before sinking down onto her couch...]

[...he was in Yukiko's apartment.]

[...somehow that was even more special than when she was in his.]

[Now that she thought about it, this was the first time he was at her place.

And they were alone. Doing a private reading...

Anyone else would believe this to be dirty.

Not a moment later, Yukiko came out of her room with the deck wrapped in a cloth and couldn't help but smile.]

You look pretty relaxed.

You've got a comfy couch.

[And that smile on his face is totally innocent too.]

[After a moment, he sat up scooting over a bit so she could have space to work.]

And the company is quite good as well.

[She undid the cloth and shuffled the cards just as she sat across from him.]

I'm going to need you to think of a question. Any will do but don't tell me.

Okay.

[The question he had in mind was obvious, of course. Problem was, there were other things on his mind too, and he had to force himself to focus on that one question before giving her a nod.]

[Ok, that was the ok to start splitting the deck in three. Past, Present, Future.

The first card on her left she flipped it over.]

The Past shows the Emperor. A father figure who defends those he cares about. It can also mean structure and stability. The Emperor is able to create order out of chaos by carefully categorizing his thoughts and mapping out what needs to be done to solve the problem.

[The next card is turned but Yukiko is a little hesitant at first. Nonetheless...]

The Present shows the Magician. Creative power and intellect. It shows that a situation has been shown to you and that you have all the pieces but just need to be put together. I think it's a good sign.

[And in that last line was another meaning: Yosuke is telling you not to give up.]

And the Future...shows the Seven of Cups. Fantasy, wishful thinking. A choice needs to be made. While there may be many different choices, it's up to you to decide which one is the right one for you.

[Yu smiled faintly at the start; being referred to as someone that defends those he cared about... well, that was accurate. He did everything he could to help out his friends, and he did everything he could to protect them.]

[That smile faltered a little at the Magician showing up, but the meaning wasn't lost on him. The future though... his future always was uncertain, wasn't it? Igor would probably compliment her.]

[After a moment, he reached out, placing a hand over hers gently.]

[She couldn't help but smile, knowing that he was going through a bit of a rough spot. Yukiko knew that the cards were only a tool, not pure fact and it was up to the one being read to make those decisions.

But even so, it didn't stop her from moving closer and kissing him. A different way of saying 'you're welcome' she supposed.]

[Yu blinked in surprise at the sudden kiss... but he wasn't exactly going to pull away. A small smile worked its way around her lips, before he kissed her back softly.]

[She broke away about a minute after but wished she could go longer. But then they would never leave her place that night.]

How...did I do?

[...and that was bad how exactly?]

T-Thanks, I'm still a beginner so there's probably a few things I missed.

Even if there was, I know you'll get better.

[He knew once Yukiko put her mind to something, she saw it through to the end. He knew she'd keep practicing.]

I'm glad you have faith in me.

[He reached over, gently placing a hand on hers.]

[Yu paused a moment, looking like he was going to pink up a little, before he smiled warmly.]
