[She doesn't make posts to the journal very often but this is one of those moments where she wanted to. Plus it might give her some good practice for future comers to the temple. With a deep breath, she turned on the journal and more specifically, the video function. Now or never!]

Hello again, Luceti. For the all the New Feathers that just arrived, I'm Yukiko Amagi. I was rather curious about something for the past couple of weeks and would like to try it out, hopefully using the journals to get a better message.

[Stop babbling and get to the point.]

I work at the temple and one of the skills I'm learning is how to read the tarot. For those who are not familiar with it, it's like fortune telling but only a tool and not for certain. Or, that's what I like to believe.

If anyone would like to have their cards read, I can do it over the journals or at the temple. Whichever ways works for you I can accompany that request. Just a warning that I am fairly new at this.

[And she will stay true to her word: if anyone wants a tarot reading, Yukiko will be at the temple for all their needs.]



(OOC: I do have a tarot deck and will attempt to be doing readings. I'm still a novice but it's mostly for fun, right?)

Yeah, it is kinda cold out here.

[He'd rather not freeze while he learns his future...unless his future involves freezing. Still, better than sitting around and getting cold. So, he hurries on inside ahead of her.]

[She chuckled a little as she led the boy to one of the buildings; simple but warm and dry. There was a small table but pretty low so people could sit either on the floor or on cushions. But at least it was something, right?]

Go ahead and sit down, I'll get the cards.

Sure.

[He's going to pull up a cushion and sit on that. Floor was already cold enough when it wasn't winter.]

So, is this your first time doing card readings, Yukiko?

[She nods.]

Yes, I'm just a beginner at this so if I mess up, I apologize.

[She returns with the deck and shuffles it a few times.]

Alright, think of any question you want but don't tell me. The cards should give you the answer.

[Henry just gives her a small shrug.]

It's not like I'll know. This is my first time getting my fortune.

[But, a question...
What kind of question should he think of...
His only question is to wonder what else is going to happen in his life. If he'll ever be a hero.]

[After she shuffles the deck, she splits it into three piles. Three cards to tell the Past, Present, and Future. The first one Yukiko reveals is-]

The Past shows the Ace of Wands. It means that there's power involved possibly involving creation. It can also mean beginnings or potential but also a restlessness that needs to be satiated. Passion is there but the means of how to do it isn't clear to you yet.

[The second card...]

The Present shows the Queen of Swords. Perceptive and independent. It says to make sure you look at all the evidence presented to you before making a decision because it might come back to haunt you in the end.

[And the last one...]

The Future shows the Sun. It's a sign of positivity, success and vitality. You always see the bright side on life and you draw people into that mind set no matter where you go. This card also brings another message: despite everything bad that might be happening, things will get a lot better.

[Henry listens to the description of each of the cards Yukiko draws and can only try and think on what they mean.

The past...maybe it had something to do with magic coming to Storybrooke? Or Storybrooke being created? He's not really sure how to take that one.

The second card does make more sense...considering that thing he did with Pan only a little while ago. Yeah, definitely he was going to need to take that one to heart and not make poor decisions in the future.

The last one is something he can take comfort in. His family had said things about him being like that. Helping them change and doing the right thing. So, it does make him smile a bit.]

I still don't really get the first one, but, I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and everything will work out? That's good to know.

[And then he looks to the deck of cards.]

Do you want to do another one? Or maybe I could try and do one for you.

[Because he totally knows how they work...not.]
